Morton Young & Borland was founded in 1900 by Thomas Morton and Alexander Young. It still occupies the same premises in Newmilns, Ayrshire, and is now run by the grandson of one of the founders. We are one of the few producers of traditional Nottingham Lace, and the only manufacturer in the world of 100% cotton Madras. Many of the original 100 year old looms, like the one pictured here in 1910, are still in operation. MYB will soon be offering secure internet shopping.
